This is good I was getting low on those, ha.
I took an 1 1/2 hour drive to get there last week to go buy the orange Skyline. I was looking for the fixed blade as well but they didn't have any in stock. Went back New Year's Day and they not only had the fixed blade in both orange and black. Got those two and also the tiget striped Blur. This is the is the first Skyline I have had in a while. It was a bit stiff at first, but I put a drop of oil on the pivot, and now it is really working nicely! The light weight and thinness make this a very easy carrying knife, and a great EDC candidate. I know everybody, including me, has been talking about the new Benchmade 300 SN, but Kershaw got it right the first time around with the Skyline. It is has the same length blade as the BM, and a longer more comfortable handle plus it is 2.5 oz. lighter. More importantly, sale or not, Skylines are anywhere from 2-3x cheaper than the new Benchmade. As I said before, Kershaw got it right and set the bar high when it comes to manual flilpper folders.
