Yeah there is something weird about those knives.

First and foremost, the steel mysteriously performs like 8cr

Second, even though they have nice thick pb washers, they wear strangely and feel gritty like low quality unlubed teflon washers.

The G10 was nice though, and the build quality seemed solid, but on the whole I don't care for mine after its minimal use and I will likely toss it.

I'm deeply shocked that a company selling knockoffs and using the Axis lock might be less than honest about the steel they're using.
