Wednesday (Hump Day) would take on a whole new meaning :D Just sayin'. Perhaps I need to pick up one, I'm really digging the tweaks in the new one a lot!

You know, I've never been able to figure out the whole nessmuk thing and I've never been all that interested in one. But I have to agree with you Mist. Andy's new and improved model is pretty cool.

You buy the nessmuk. You take to the woods and find a shady tree, have lunch, and use the Nessmuk to help make lunch. You lay back and listen to the stillness, and the nessmuk acts as sort of a antennae that showers you with good vibes and you begin to understand what he said when he talked about "smoothing it"

Thanks HD. :)

Glad to see you are still around.

Yep, I love the new handle shape, and the grind on this one really appeals to me.

Mist...GO FOR IT dude...I got one and I was and am very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is. I haven't used it but I can definitely see the functionality and handiness of the knife. Not only that...if it brings peace and serenity in the woods for a guy...who cares how it works....LOL

Yes. I agree definite "must have" in your FBF collection. My wife took my new Nessy so I had no choice but to get my own! :D

Yeah, I have never really been drawn to most of the Nessmucks I have seen, but I do really like the new tweaks a lot, and find myself looking more and more at these when he posts them. It's funny, I never wanted a Kephart either, till Andy brought out his interpretation of it, and I fell in love with it. Nearly a year later it's still my favorite bushcraft knife. Maybe Andy is just magic and the Nessie will have the same effect, I do really like the lines of the new one very much. I know right, for that who cares how it does it :)

Yep, wives are funny that way. Mine has snagged a couple of my smaller Fiddlebacks, I've had to lay down the law and explain that a few of them are just off limits other than her occasionally using them and that's that lol.
