I do not usually like lanyards they tend to get in the way more than anything BUT with that said I never remove them from my Sebs or Ums. How about you?

Always take mine off. I do not like them sticking out of my pockets at work.

I cant really vote because I leave mine on for awhile, then take it off for awhile. Since I can tie the lanyard, its easy for me to change my mind frequently. The new way CRK ties the lanyards looks pretty cool.

this is the way i am too.

I don't like lanyards on my folders but do sometimes use them on fixed blades.

if it were a small sebenza, i might keep the lanyard (technically a "fob", i guess).

however, on a bigger knife w/ a pocket clip there seems little point to a lanyard unless it's to secure the knife to thumb/wrist.

Take them all off. No lanyard whatsoever on my folders. They tend to get in the way and advertise that I am carrying a knife...not that I'm trying to hide my knives or anything.

I pretty much just go with what I feel like. One day this one day that. Also depends on my use.

I usually have some 550 paracord in my pocket and if I am around water on goes the lanyard and slips over my hand. It has hapened that one time I slipped and because I had the lanyard, tied around my right hand ring finger and the loop goes across the back of the pinkie and then into the palm, when I fell I spred my vingers. The lanyard pulls the knife out of my hand and onto the back of my hand. Therefore I did not lose the knife in the river, could control my fall and I was in no serious danger of stabbing through my hand.

Take it off! Lanyards just get in the way. The only knives that need lanyards are big choppers, IMO.

I like them. I think they are a great accent to the inlay Sebenza's and they are also functional for the users - fixed and folding. I've got one on a Rat RC-6 that I tie off to my wrist almost every time I use it. Right now I'm looking for a good one for my plain large classic seb for those occasions when it might get slippery, like fishing. Woulda used it last weekend.;)

I use the lanyard to pull the Seb from my pocket, when needed, in the dark, no problem, no need to look, just pull it out, Bart1

Don't like the lanyards on mine, don't really see a need for them, specially the small bloodwood inlay one.

To be honest, the fancier small ones could rock a gold chain and get away with it.
