Ya need another reason to play with your knives?

Hi Guys,
I have noticed a variation in the dimensions of the Busse blades that I have been working with. So I have decided to attempt to get a median measurement so I can automatically make allocations for these variances. (I sound kinda edumucated there huh?? ) What spurred this is I got a ZT BM and its almost 1/2" longer than my CG BM pattern!

What I would like is as many measurements as I can get from you hogs. I need blade length from the micarta to the tip, and the width of the blade at any given point. Knives? BMe, SHIIe, NOe, BAe, Satin Jack CG and LE? Anyone interested in tracing their knives onto a heavy posterboard and mailing that to me? I would appreciate that very very much.


Just post the measurements here, or e-mail them if you want to keep your stash to yourself and if you have the time to do some tracing I can send you my address.

but i think i accidently mailed the wrong one to you the

last couple i sold came from a vintage box that was sealed for my

retirement. i was drunk when i wrapped yours and before i new it it

was gone

Hoo boy! this is getting interesting! The handle look a little blurry from here, one too many Schlitz (I told you I was a poor leatherman! ) but they do look tannish, greyish, blackish??? Nah, its just the beer talking I think?
