It does have a clip after all :D

I don't have it yet, so those are the sellers mediocre pictures.
I just could not pass on this vintage little Craftsman tie clip knife for under $10.
On the rare occasion that I wear one it's a bolo tie so I'll probably just clip it to the flap of my shirt pocket or something.
Yeah I don't really need it for it's intended purpose, but I'm a sucker for the old 1960's Craftsman crown logo and just had to have it.
Maybe it'll actually turn out to be a functional little knife.

Groundbreaking
Innovative
Oozing style
Pure genius....?
Perhaps, but not "traditional" to my mind.
I actually wore a suit and tie to a wedding last weekend....I was packin' the Texas Camp Knife for just in cases....wish I had a tie clip knife...what a cool Idea.
Cheers.

It might be a money clip knife, which would be traditional in my eyes. I have a SAK and a bunch of Colonials. Tie clip knife might be ok, too. It's pocket clips that expressly are proscribed.
I thought my poor attempt at a joke would be seen right away, at 1.5" Im pretty sure it's a tie clip knife and at 50+ years old by now I'm positive it's traditional.
In a quick Google search I found a different cheaper looking version of the tie clip knife and a pair of cufflink knives that matched this.

I think it is traditional. I have something at home that I'll take a picture of later. Old money clip with knife blades in it.

Well the little guy just arrived.
It's definitely traditional and as I suspected by the looks of the blade it was made by Imperial, it's actually sharp too. I find it very fitting that a crown logo Craftsman knife would be made by imperial.

The cool part is that it's based around the same knife as the little white handled keychain Imperial Gary sent me a couple years ago that's been around my neck everyday since.

The keychain version just has a patent number and USA while the Craftsman tie clip just says IMPERIAL, they appear to have only ever made these For clip knives for Sears / Craftsman so maybe that's why.
It seems to be the nicer / better made version of the two types I found online.

I like it!

It's not too fancy looking either so I can clip it to any kind of buttoned shirt I'm wearing.
I never planned on wearing it just on special occasions or anything.
