Yahoo just ordered my first becker

Wow.... i feel great just pulled the trigger on my first becker. Thank you blade forum people for sharing the word on this brand . Im thinking I'll probably love it. I love respect and seeing Mr Becker tell us all on the forum Happy Labor day blew my mind. I want to be part of that. I also love USA blades. And I know I'm blabing but also the quality from what I've seen.
Sold me a ***BK2*** cant wait till it shows up. I'm looking forward to playing with it and showing my 4 year old son action/fire starting knife stuff.#camping.

The BK-2 was my first as well. I foolishly sold it only to eventually get another; my 2 is not leaving me again!

Congrats and use it in good health as my grandmother used to say.:thumbup:
 
My first as well. It's what brought me to BF. Great blade, congrats, and welcome to the forum.

My kids and I love the Remora! I've found its a perfect starter knife for teaching my little ones how to carve. I also EDC'd mine for a while :thumbup: perfect for all your small knife needs. The ffg makes quick work of cardboard!

Good choice. The BK2 is a great knife. Its small enough to carry and beefy enough to do just about anything.

Great choice!!! The bk2 was my first Becker and my favorite knife I own. It'll take pretty much anything you can throw at it with ease. When you get it use it and abuse it and enjoy.

BK2 is a classic, very likely the most frequently bought " first Becker " for good reason.....I can honestly say my BK2 has been responsible to at least 5 other Beckerhead converts LOL.

The Becker line has many other useful blades but nothing says " Bad A$$ " quite like the 2...it just oozes awesomeness!
 
I keep reading about these "Becker triggers" but haven't found one on any of mine yet...congrats and enjoy!

Congrats on the BK2! I really recommended looking at a 13 or 11 for your son! I've been teaching my little ones knife skills for almost a year now (5 and 3). I'm fairly confident in their skills and abilities with sticks but still keep a close eye on them ;)

It just gets taken to another level when the entire family can enjoy a little time in the woods!

Also my first Becker. A classic, for sure. You will not be disappointed and I am willing to bet another BK-? Is in you future.
 
BK2 is an amazing knife, however it's such a powerful knife there are rules to follow

1) It can only be locked away in the toughest tungsten carbide lined box, everything else it will escape
2) One too hard a chop and it can cause an earthquake in the far East.
3) Its so tough it can cut kryptonite in half, just by looking at it - so take care
4) Don't get it wet
5) Never, and I mean, never feed it after midnight!
