Just went to the www.botach.com to check out some knives and found a notice that said,"yahoo has demanded we remove all ammo, knives and guns from our site." :barf: :o

Maybe its time to remove Yahoo from our computers.

Isnt Botach the company that everybody has been warned away from anyway?

Yahoo can just kis my a**! I bet there are Yahoo site still selling basebal bats and crowbars! A**wipes.

I have been dealing with Botach for couple of years at least and I have only experienced minor problems that were cleared up quickly and easily. I will continue to do business with them until I experience otherwise.

The real issue is Yahoo's uneven, unfair censoring of what we as adults can legally purchase!

That's not the point! Botach may have customer service issues, but they still have a right to keep and bear. Yahoo is the enemy, not Botach.

Yes that Botach, the one everyone warns about, the one I have made 12 or so buys from(at great prices)with one minor problem that they called mE about, than sent my order nextday air for FREE.:D

The issue is still though YAHOO. BTW they now have Spyderco and Coldsteel on sale. :) Example of prices, spyderco Police for $76.

Doesn't Yahoo itself sell porn? Talk about double standards.

I have a little "side note", RE: Yahoo...
I have been keeping track of the amount of junk-mail (SPAM) that I receive in my Yahoo and Hotmail email accounts, and for the past 2 weeks, I have found that I receive AT LEAST TWICE the amount of SPAM in Yahoo than I do in my Hotmail account...(And a couple of days, it has been 3X as many "SPAMS" in my Yahoo email account!)..:barf:..

PS...I have just received two more SPAMS in my Yahoo email account just in the short time that it took for me to type this!.:(.

LOL
I think yahoo couldn't stay afloat and that's why they're resorting to spamming.
Too bad, at first they used to be a good search engine, but now they use google as their engine and go with all these spamming crap.....

Google is the only search engine, no ads no spam, no popups. Yahoo isnt and never was a search engine they are a directory listing like the yellow pages sorta, they use Google to do searches now and before they Used Inknomie or inkomie something like that. They aint worth poop in my book. Adults can censor themsleves we dont yahoo doing it for us, and i dont know of many if any knife stores online that will sell to minors so why censor or stop knives from being on yahoo, Botach needs to tell them to kiss there arse and find another server to host thier website, it not that hard to find them, or run your own,.

That doesnt make any sense. Enter: "Knives" in a yahoo search box, and you get a big fat link at the top of the page that says
"Shopping: over 1,500 Knives on Yahoo! Shopping
Auctions: over 600 Knives at Yahoo! Auctions"

I think there's more to this story than meets the eyes.

Do a search here on BFC or on any of the gun forums for google. Google has refused advertisements from companies that sell knives, guns, or anything related. If you play around with google's image search, which is filtered (i.e., censored) by default, you'll find that knife and gun stuff is often censored out of your search. Google may be a better search engine, but they're anti's to the core. IIRC our very own Knife Outlet was turned down by google.

I did the same thing, Yahoo still is selling knives.
I am no Yahhoo fan, however I definitely dislike Botach- 3 orders placed, 3 orders screwed up, when I offered to just pick up from their store and I'll still pay shipping since I wanted it ASAP (Botach is close to where I live, I placed my order 2 weeks previous) they said no, we need to send.
Also I went to Lone Hunter's link to Botach, I see no notice- where is it?!
Perhaps Yahoo has problem with Botach...

what is wrong eith them???
They thing We are better because we don't support companies what sell knives and arms and...? OR WHAT??????
Just don't understand this
I hope Botach will find his hosting server soon;)

I can't say anything bad about Yahoo. I can do my knife shopping anywhere - but nobody besides Yahoo can bring me several opportunities per day to enlarge my penis.
