Well as much as I hate to admit it I need to get a REAL job. So for the past month I have been studying my little brains out. Today I took and Passed (On the first try mind you!) my AZ State Real Estate exam.

Let me tell you after five plus years of owning a house painting biz anything is a welcome change. Especially when you do that Quarterly reality check called Taxes, then deduct all of the real expences of running your own business there isn't usually enough left to make it worth while.

Now for those who hate RE agents no stone throwing I plan on going into Commercial Property Sales or Commercial Property Mgt.

I will still be making knives OF COURSE but now I should be able to afford to;) Besides Momma (the other half) will be losing her job in December.

My plans are still someday to start a knife business something along the lines of Strider or TOPS so I can make enough money to pay the bills.
Giving me enough free time to MAKE KNIVES of course.

OK Enough whining, time to get back out to the shop and have some fun:D

Know how you feel, I am working off-shore for the 14 and 14 work shift. When I get in I've got two weeks to work on knives, but the two weeks away from it is murder. And I head back out tomorow:grumpy:

Hey Robert congratulations! We all need a regular income, and painting houses sounds like incredibly hard work. I know how bad it sucks to see all your work evaporate into the income statement...

But you sure gotta keep making those fine big bowies man!
