Nice bass, you cant beat kayak fishing, its cool being that close to the water. I picked up a 2012 Malibu X-factor this year wanting to get out on Lake Michigan and troll for salmon. what do wear when it gets cold? I just wear chest waders and a rain jacket but thinking about getting a drysuit for Lake Michigan when the water temps are below 45.

Will be first year for colder weather kayaking but I plan to get some waist high waders. I have chest high hunting and fishing waders but I think with PFD and more southern clime, waist high will be more comfortable for me.

Just be sure to dress for the water temp not the air temp. It can be all over real fast when the water is below 45 degrees. Muscles refuse to work and then you end up feeding the fish.
