I just finished this folder. It has a lot of Japanese Influence. The blade is 4-1/8 in long, made of 1095 with a nice hamon that curves around the tip. The blade has a multi-bevel grind with the main bevels being hollow ground. The false edge is flat ground as is the tip. The bolsters are tri-color mokume made of nickel silver, brass and copper. The thumb opener is also mokume and is made of sterling silver and copper. The liners are titanium that I textured and anodized blue. The spacer is titanium that has been textured and extends out into a skull crusher. The screws have been heat colored gold. Overall length is 9-1/2 inches and it weighs 5.7oz.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

wow, Chuck

I know you have made a lot of knives, most of which I've seen. But, you really, really outdid yourself on this one. Beautiful!!!

awesome knife!

Very well designed. Love the blade and the knife looks great opened and closed, which as we know, is not always the case. Great looking knife!

useful open or closed... And I, too, love the Hamon on a blade style like that!
Am also a fan of Mokume, to someone elses' dismay, and I like the use on this piece...

Question: Handle material - Carbon Fiber? Micarta?

Very nice, I particularly like the colors you got out of the mokume, it's not always easy to do, Not for me anyway.

Very nice piece Chuck. Cool Mokume opener and overall wicked stylish.
