I am leaving this sat to go on a 18 night cruise of southern Australia and then a loop around New Zealand. Am I bragging? NO. This might be cry for help. I will be away form Blade Forum/ Busse for over 3 weeks and it is actually a concern to me. I am in the market for a few knives......I guess I am always in the market for a few knives, therein lies the problem.
Have you ever had something great planned and thought you might miss something on BF? Should I get help or just a good satellite connection. Or am I asking the wrong people.
 
How about I go in your place and you can hang out at my place and use my Internet connection???:D You have to admit, that would solve your problem.

The cruise ship should have internet, at killer prices but it should. If you have a Telstra mobile you might be able to get online on your phone. I have bought the Vex on my mobile while on holidays in Europe, arranged a few more items to be bought/made/shipped as well. It is doable.

Have a sweet trip! Will you at least have some INFI on board with you? Just hope you don't have to abandon ship with a MOAB strapped to your side :eek:. I might be a little hard to swim with :D.
 
We were on a boat last Sep and our Internet bill was way too much. We were only checking emails and the such. Their computers were slower than Christmas. Most of the time was spent waiting for the page to load.......conspiracy? I don't think so.

KnifeMan, Your a gentleman and a scholar. I might need to push a few down the road before I buy anymore. I am in the market for a BA TAC CG and a SJTAC LE.
They search you when you get on the boat now. I will be testing they security with my SAK and Leatherman. I would have to disguise a MOAB. Maybe tell them it's a bionic prosthetic leg. I got it............an emotional wellness knife! I get a note from Dr. Jerry. To whom it may concern.....

Don't they make satellite phones that you can turn into a wifi hotspot? If not, why not? There's millions to be made off that idea! I'll take mine in shop credit!!
 
Yes.... I remember being set up on a Satlink in the middle of a very large uninhabited area trying to buy a NMSFNO... :)
 
Did I mention that I also got 'my people' to shop on my behalf? Both 1311s and 411s are on the way now... :cool:

Just don't take your Busse! I did a cruise like this just a few weeks ago. I had a HACK Bear Cub in my luggage, a simple pocket knife that is lawful to carry. My bags never made it to my cabin. They were confiscated and emptied, the knife was seized and I was only able to collect it in port after we returned.

Have a good trip though.

I will leave all my metal at home........ I can alway make a shank on board out of something. Those buffet can get pretty rough........."That lady wheeled right in front of me"
