Yanagi

I'm lookin to buy this Yanagi, anyone familiar with yoshihiro brand?

I already have a kasumi, but not their Damascus blue steel, wondering if anyone has experience with this steel (yasuki aoko). Hrc 64

It's a gorgeous knife, and a bit steep in price. But I've long wanted a show piece knife for work.

you sure you need a yanagi? it's a single purpose knife. it's only for slicing sushi.

It's 90% of what I do at work though.

This will be a knife I'm clutching 4-5 hours daily, so why I want a nice one

Very nice but difficult to not mess up, seeing that it will be used so much the edge will need daily touch-up which will alter the finish. If you don't mind this then go for it but half the reason you are buying it is for the looks.
