23inch two pound Chainpuri by Sher with usual features. Like brother Kumar, Sher makes a pretty decent handle. $75 UBBB+

20 inch 21 ounce Kobra by Sher again. $60 UBBB

18 inch 22 ounce Sirupati by Kumar. Excellent work. $60 UBBB

18 inch 30 ounce Ang Khola by Kumar. Hairline crack that won't go anywhere. $75 UBBB

18 inch 24 ounce WWII by Bura. Nobody does it better than Bura. A few grainline cracks that might vanish with Hooflex. $79 UBBB

17.5 inch 28 ounce M43 by Sher. Great rig. Note says USA Wood but it looks more like bloody sandalwood to me. $145

14inch 17 ounce Seax by Kumar. He does make the best handles in the shop and this one is out of Osage Orange. Delivered to your door for $100. UBBB

We need to send them a steady supply of Osage. It looks beautiful. I want an osage pen knife
I've got a $hitload of 65-75 year old Osage Orange that would make a helluva lot of khuk or other knife handles!:D :p ;)
Mostly heart wood too, not much sap wood on it, maybe a 1/2 inch! :D ;) :p

Seconded the thought of Pen Knives and WWIIs in osage orange. Looks like I need to plant some in the yard.

mPisi, anyone ever tell you about the hellacious thorns these things have? And they really irritate the body when it's stuck with the dayumed thangs!!!! The site swells up and stings, burns and itches and is sore as a dayumed boil for days and days!!!! Then the names Osage Orange, Hedge Apple and such describes their fruit. Heavy, and I mean Heavy for their Size, sort of round and all crinkledly, is that a word? it is now;) that drops all over your yard! Messy trees to say the least and usually crooked as a dog's hind leg and twice as knotty! :D ;)
It's a wonder there was ever a piece found straight enough for a bow. :D

They don't call me "mean Mr. Johnson" around the neighborhood for nothing...

I can't believe that Seax is still there. If I was being paid extra for the 40 hours of work I'll be doing over the weekend, it would be mine...
