Like most people here I feel H.I. offers an unique product with excellent service. I love H.I. products the have an earthy/folk art appeal to me. I would not want to go on Survivor without one.

Now for my point. My father saw a chitlangi bowie and fell in love. His birthday was approaching and I kept checking the deals of the day. No bowies for me. I called Yangdu and found out a few were coming but I was hard to say when. This Friday Yangdu calls me up and says she has one. I take it in a heart beat and today, my father's birthday, it shows up. It is exactly what I wanted for him. Great knife, great service, great person.

Who ever came up with the chitlangi bowie idea, thank you. Two people are very happy with your design.

Bill Martino's dream of a company doing it right never hiccuped upon his passing, and keeps plugging along in style.

Thanks for sharing that with us.

Great story and great customer service as usual. I didn't know how quickly the Chitlangi Bowie would catch on when I designed it. I am glad you and your father like the design. Let us know how it performs for him.

You must be very satisfied knowing your design is not only real, (that is- brought from drawing to reality) but elegant and well thought of. Good going, man!

I delivered the knife to my father tonight at dinner. He had a smile from ear to ear. He was very happy. His second product made by Kumar. We talked about it for a long time. This summer we will most likely go on vacation to Northern California. I am quite sure it will go with us. :)

It is very satisfying sir, but even more satisfying to see people enjoying the blade as it was meant to be. More good stuff from H.I.

10-35, it is great that your father loved the blade. I hope that it sees some use. If you get a chance post some pics of your pops and the blade.

This thread is proof that the internet may be redeemable. Everybody involved here has done something really right, in the spirit of good will and honest enterprise:cool:, All of it was facilitated by this medium.
Hoosiers' and Kami's making knives across the great digital divide, the they're being given as gifts of meaning all over the world.
Ain't it a trip?:D

May the joy of this season be with everybody in this forum.

Peace on Earth
