So i ordered my first himalayan import (and first kukri or Nepal made anything for that matter!) Last week. A baby foxy folly, for my hiking knife, which I just found in my mailbox minutes ago and am currently drooling over[emoji5]

During my wait, I have read every bit of information I could find on the HI website. I have become truly fascinated with the work and spirituality and "magic" that goes into each and every HI knife. Further, i am blown away by the craftsmenship in my new BFF. This is a beautiful companion for me to enjoy. Yangdu, Thank you so much for the service you provide not only for us, but the Kamis in Nepal. Happy Birthday as well![emoji5]

I have to agree with Dirtbiker. My 16.5" Foxy has become my go-to trail knife. Not much heavier than a KLVUK, similar thin edge profile, but way more belly, better at chopping, and of course, GORGEOUS.

Congrats on a GREAT start on your collection Adam... you did realize you are starting a collection didn't you? You said you read all the pages so you already know that since you have touched the baby Foxy you are infected with HIKV and it is only a matter of time (and wallet) before you have 5, 10 or even more HI khuks.

Seriously enjoy your hiking knife. I think you have found a great version for that task.

Great pix and post, thank you for sharing
