I have a Bura AK with white metal grip.
Very nice blade.
Feels good dry handling.

Haven't beat on it,
so don't know about durability in the field.
(or tang support)
It's one piece I intend to show off,
not use much.

BTW--these are hollow metal shells,
not shaped solid metal.

All I know is that I'm going to go pay my bill before I get in more trouble...

Someone should snap up that AK bowie! 95 bucks is a steal. Thats almost half off. i plan on taking mine out to my mother's for the forth to give it a little work out. Ya know 'cause its more " 'merican" lookin';) That and i havent played with it in awhile. Faithful ol AK bowie. Everyone should ahve one:)

Dangit, I really *want* a wood gripped Seax too...but you've already driven me into my August knife money Uncle...

Um...August, 2005 that is...

how thick are the edges on the Seax and the AK Bowie? Are they beefy like the kuks we love?

John, Seax = 1/4" and AKB = 3/8"-1/2" or at least the very first one fell into those specs.;)

Oops! Did you really mean edges? Or were you meaning the spine? I quoted the spine specs.

Um...I hope to get the edges down as thin as possible on mine. At least that's what Dan and Yvsa taught me! ;)

with no buyers? Its like 47% off normal price fer a non-prod. piece. I can't endosrse this blade enuf, and in this pic ya can see it ain't no toy knife. One forumite recently confessed to me that it is his 'under the pillow' knife!

It'll do some light to medium chopping effectively, but it is a sticker as well. Hardened from tip almost all the way back to the bolster.

Checking my funds....checkinng.....checking....(warning to the noobs)

I've just been waiting for Uncle Bill to email me with a "super secret just for buds extra deep deep discount price"

I'm afraid I'm in for a long wait...

Uh, I think this is that! At least fer us who paide the full 110USD per.

I've got to etch a few of the new ones fer folks, and they are really close to the originals, some look even better than the initial runs, and we're seeing more kamis than just Sher knocking them out.
