Uncle Bill, Does Yangdu have her own business and sell the goodies I saw on the convention video?
Also...Who makes the Khuks with the heart shaped choe? Can't seem to talk Hoghead out of any of his. So I'll just get my own.
Thanks.

mamav if you like heart shaped chos check out the khuk on the top left.
It's my as forged chainpuri blade I took artistic license with and made it into a full curved khuk with a true weeping heart shaped cho in memory of the weeping heart shaped cut outs in the old ndn 'hawks.:D

Thanks mamav!!!!:D
The pix represent only a part of my collection as I have a little over 30 khuks and several other knives of different, more common designs. ;)
It's just a hobby as I can't do much more, but hope to someday get back to being able to make/rework/redesign knives for my family, friends and self.:)

Chitlangis and Gelbu Specials both have heart shaped chos. I don't know if there are any others.

All one business. Kami Sherpa/Pala owner, Yangdu, Pala's daughter and Bill's wife of many years,(Tracker of AP/AR, Chief Nepali Shipping Staff, US side); Uncle Bill, son-in-law, General CEO? , Keeper of the Forum Faith, Fantastic Pitch Man,(I have this special - -) (Come into my parlor, said the spider:) ), all around good guy, honest and someone you want to call friend AND would regret not ever having known.

Does this mean I have to take the class by Duvon so I can have the privilege of meeting such a great man and his wife?
Hoghead wanted to go to that class so guess maybe I'll let him. Are they going to have it. or where is that thread. I better read more carefully.:D

Class is a dead issure, lack of support/interest/ UB closed the thread. Maybe next year.

If you don't mind a smoking, drinking, swearing nasty old man you're welcome to drop by Titanic II anytime.

We just might do that. Drop by I mean. With Eric's job up in the air we may just load a truck and move somewhere. Maybe even Reno. He likes that area. I think it may be a little too close to relatives, but that's OK. I can just send them to the casino's when they drop by.:D . I better be careful I may talk myself into another packing frenzie.

Oh, yah, you didn't tell me if Yangdu has those goodies.:)

Gin,
I have a Ghopte Balance with a heart shaped cho.
That I'm partial to.
I think it's either 2nd or 3rd from the bottom-right side on yvsa's photo.
Yvsa?

The cho on the Gelbu Special I have here isn't quite a heart, bottom is more rounded. Almost looks more like the sillouette of a cat's head to me. Different models, perhaps?

Listen to everyone else, I'm just trying to be helpful with the one's I have. Don't know anything 'cept what I learned from them anyway.

Yangdu does have a few goodies stashed. If you're interested in anything on the table email me and I'll see if she has it.

IIRC

Shirts smaller sizes I found one 48 that fit me pretty well, always wash in cold water on gentle cyle. LOL Still fits me. But I am going to wear it out

Jolas

Hats, I forget the proper Napalese term.

a couple of rings left, small sizes (I got the largest one and having it resized to fit my fat finger)

Kagas Katnes

Biltons

AK Convention special with bone/horn handle, but think they have all been sold after the convention.

I FELT LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE!
:)

Many other khukuris of various models on display.

Thanks for help, Dale. You know more about it than I do and you've also got more khukuris than I do.
