Can't say enough good things about the feel & balance of the Movie Model- and that's a great price!

and I'm tapped- but this one will evaporate:
17 inch 23 ounce Kothimoda by Bura. Fine work. Small hairline crack in bone handle. Take it home today for an even $100.

Great stuff!

A very nice selection today...after a kantana and several other recent buys I have to hold back ....so hurry up and remove all this temptation!

just look at that 18 inch 21 ounce Sirupati by Bura....

I AM looking- the rest of the Sharks must be chasing people off Florida beaches...

...we just need to forgive.

e-mail sent on Bowie.

Ivsa, nice going on!!

This one, will be my throwing knife :)

I noticed that Bone handled kothimoda as well. With a nice red leather scabbard for only $100! I have one with the kothimoda scabbard, but this is the first large red leather scabbard I have seen in a long time, if ever.

I have to say with a crack in bone I would want to glue it up before I did any serious chopping with it, but a great deal though!

Norm

Beautiful pieces as always! :) That movie model is really something.

Regarding the bone handled Kothimoda, I would regard it as a display piece only. Bone is weaker than either horn or wood. :( Of course, it's covered by the incomparable HI warranty.

Steve

Yeah...bone is good for a shark...have been looking at that one myself.

No sharks in the water today? Maybe on vacation.

:D

The sharks here in Boston are too busy sweating to type emails for knives ....

that, and daydreaming about vacation; and also July's rent.

:D

Those are some great blades. I think the date listed may have the sharks confused. Today is the 28th and the thread title says 27th.

Wow, this is bizarre. I've never seen such nice pieces hang around for so long.

Steve

It must be the title.

These blades are still here? Did anything go?

I keep telling myself that I'm letting everyone else have first dibs on the koth and the bilton. Perhaps I'm in shock. Does anyone else remember the days when a Dukti disappeared before the pictures were done loading? $185 is a steal for such a sword. If I didn't have one already...

If the night crew doesn't snap these up I'm going to spend some money tomorrow. What the hell...it's almost payday, right? A guy can make it a few days on Top Ramen.

Excellence all around.
Wonderful.

I think the forum is just slower than it was a few months back.
&, as said, the 27th date may mislead some looking for today's date.

Maybe in a week or two -I'll- be ready to swim again.

Did anyone else notice the grip profile on that 25"Sirupate?
Beautiful.
And the foreblade seems longer proportioned
than most 25"Sirus I recall.

And the wood on the 18"Sirupate grip?
Ooooh.

Every one in the lineup a more than worthy blade.

Movie model, Dukti, Bilton and Ak bowie gone.

Sharks are rare because I'm $*%(%_)#&#)!(!(@(@#! blocked from Bladeforums at my new job. Sunuvabitch! I got into himalayan-imports.com once, then went back the next day and it was blocked too.
