I'll take the 7.5 inch 3 ounce Sarge knife by Bura. US antler handle. $39 YBB

Nice snag on the Sarge...I was about to start the email. I can't believe the prices...and that YCS...oh my! The kardas alone are worth the price!

.

Nice choice Azis. You seem to have a touch of antler madness lately....

Yangdu, is there any way, any way at all, to get the kamis to make the kardas for the YCS's as individual knives?

I for one wouldn't mind starting a small collection of them. Those things are beautiful.

each time I see those I think if only those were for sale on their own...

You know...maybe if we told Yangdu we'd go (something reasonable) like $50 each, she'd try to get them for us...

.

Bamboo...your right I have taken to antler...but then I like wood , though I have a lot of horn...sometimes the white metal is good....wonder if there are any with rope????

Seems to me that if the Sarges are selling for $40 then a YCS karda is worth $50 or even a touch more.

I'd love to see them sold as a pair also, with some kind of double sheath to hold them both. Heck, throw in the awl too and I'd gladly pay $100+ for it.

edit ~ is that 3rd tool an awl? Or is it a burnishing steel? or ... And maybe if I'm willing to pay $100 for that, I should throw in the extra $65 and get the YCS too. ;)

My wife hasn't gotten around to killing me for getting the tarwar ;)
Maybe she will do it with the Garud AK
E-mail sent.

sure hope somebody JUMPS on that YCS....FAST!!!

If I wasn't such a YCS pig......I'd snatch it up NOW!

A Bag Bhairab for $145 that I paid $175 for! A Garud AK for $95, that I paid $145 for! Talk about having bad timing!  ;) Great deals today guys. I'm surprised any of them are still here.

P.S. not to mention the wood on that Garud! That is some beautiful stuff. Not chandan I don't think, but seems too dark for normal saatisal. (?) In any case, very nice work.

Yes, I got the other YCS from last week. It is way nicer in person than posted on the web. Balances well considering its 37 oz weight, plus it is chiruwa style.

Don't be fooled by the pretty face - the YCS is a workhorse. I've plowed through some pretty gnarly wood with mine. And, as Nasty said, the kardas alone are worth the price. If I didn't already have one...
