Yangdu, not a big deal, and you are unfailingly accurate, but are you sure on the weight of the Manujushri? That's almost a pound less than some I have seen.

But then again, that would make for a very nice handling sword! Just checking. Fantastic price as well for someone...

Regards,

Norm

P.S. I have got to get some knives with that hill walnut! Pretty wood. My M43's are by two different Kami's, and neither one has quite the fit and finish in the handle of that Bura one.

Hey Norm- did you notice the curve in the handle of the M43?? I was told HI khuks never had curved handles.... !!! Beautiful blade!!!

Munk, I sure did, AND it has a standard bolster and a pointy tip to boot!

Must be a tourist model though. Can't imagine it would meet with approval from actual self-appointed "fighting knife" officionados! :D ;)

dang it must be something in those walnut handles that got me to shark-up that M43  :D ...I am looking forward to seeing the difference between this one and the one I bought about 3 or 4 years ago...

o/t Hey Norm got any plans for Thursday nights...meet at the Baja Cantina, do some show and tell + check out the rods and scooters?

And the pommel end seems a bit wider than most,
that blade is not going to slip away.

Sweet, don't want to hijack the thread, but that sounds cool. You mean the BC in Moss Landing, right? Tonight? You mentioned this to me before I think and I forgot. Just let me know what time and I'll do my best to make it.

And be sure to bring my new M43 and wood handled trisul along! :D Not to mention my hill walnut tarwar. Damn, that's at least two walnut handles you have so far! Bad timing on my part as they came out when my khuk buying pace has slowed way down.

P.S. After some integrity-challenged disadvantaged youths in the Home Depot parking lot, driving a $45,000 Lincoln with tinted windows, ventured over from their hovels on the east side and attempted to steal the mag wheels off my car last weekend, I have changed my location info on a car forum I belong to to match yours. I'll do the same here if it's OK with you. "Mexican Gang Infested Salinas" just seems to fit so well!

Email sent on JKM's.

Been promising myself one of these for a while...perhaps now is the time. It is, after all, payday. :)
