Today is the 8th. Uncle lost a day. Darn good buys. No sharks in the water yet? :)

Guys, that is a FANTASTIC price for a UBE. Don't let the shape put you off. It's a great chopper.

you can see my M43 I just got by sher in my Uncle Bill is the Best post, its my new favorite!

Is it my imagination, or has Sher been unusually prolific these past few weeks? I have always had a shortage of his pieces, whereas the vast majority of my stuff is my Bura, Kumar and Amtrak, and yet in the last few specials he has been pretty well represented. And across the board stuff too; he had a beautiful 19" wood Chitlangi go out the other day that I tried to snag too late (at only $65! Groan! I think Mr. Frogfish snagged that incredible 1/2 off UBBB). I also count 4 M-43's, 3 or 4 very nice Chainpuri's, 2 BDC's, a Chiruwa AK, and a standard AK, all since July 1! (And all beautiful work as well.)

Anyway, no big, just a general comment that he seems to really be cranking these days. I definitely want to get more examples of his work (starting with a copy of that wood handled Chitlangi!)

Regards,

Norm

OMG...I cant believe that 25" siru is still sitting there. Iffen I hadnt just bought a new kris, that puppy would be gone without hesitation. Someone please buy it, it is starting to taunt me with such phrases as: you aint that deep in debt, what would a little bit more really do.

I am gonna have to see if I can come up with $150 for that sword. It is talking to me... it has been a long time since I bought a new knife... :o

I'm havin' a sulk 'cos I can't have an advance on my pocket money.
Maybe next time........<sigh>........

I'm sort of drawn to the M43 or the GRS in the pictures, but the 15"AK has had such glowing praise bestowed on it that I'm pulled in that direction, too.
One step at a time, though.
First the money which is in short supply just now. Like it says in the profile.... "soon to be Shropshire"....moving house is costing a lot or hard-earned.

Steve, I know I need it, I mean really... I could put it to good use, but i cant justify spending money I dont have right now.

What little money I have I need to keep for the time being. I have a move coming up...but afterwards I can afford sharp things.

Although if you dont have a HI sword you need one.

You do have a HI sword dont you Steve? :p
