Another standard tanged Jange, excellent. I hope more of these are offered in the near future, cause I'd be willing to trade my 21" Dui Chirra for one of these. And that Bura special! I handled a few like it at the MWKK and found them pretty neat.

Some nice choices here as usual.

and it's a villager too! satin finish on the horn and blade. and check out that hefty pommel! i mean buttcap.

Bob, I think the Jange and so called Villager Specials are slightly different knives. Check out the 20" Villager special from the 7/19 deal. As you can see, today's is the same knife. Easy to get the two confused. The only really unique one was the Jange model from 7/26, with the full polish and standard tang.

I don't think they are Jange's per se, although very similar. The Jange's have a full length sword of shiva, as evidenced on the 7/26 knife, while both this knife and the 7/19 Villager Special have a shorter double SOS. The Jange also appears to be just slightly more tapered, but that could be just an appearance thing because of the full polish.

Except for the great 7/26 knife, which I missed unfortunately!, all Jange's have had the Dui Chirra style partial tang as you know, and none of them have been Villagers.

P.S. Dave I absolutely agree with you on that Pen Knife! and it was mine for the taking 5 minutes after Yangdu posted, but I just couldn't justify the cost right now. I have two of the regular ones, but no Pen Knife villager as yet.
 
Not at all surprised the Bura Special went so quick; those sexy curves are at once beguiling and tempting.

Somebody got a nice one.

Thanks for the observations Norm. I missed the "villager" part in the Jange description. :o Villager or not, I'd bite if I hadn't already bought one of the UB memorials as well as a Glock and a few other expenses.
