I already have two M43s so why am I looking at this one? Could it be the lovely curve of the handle? Or maybe it is because it's in the magic 26 oz. weight range. Someone buy this please!!!!

Good call, and you're right about the weight- mine's 29 oz, little on the heavy side but most are around 29 oz., I think.

Need one in wood, one in horn, one villager... of each.

Then, there's the exotic woods... lately.

I can't believe those blades are still available. My kothimoda was way better than I'd imagined, and these are more of the same.
