Are there 2 karda's with the YCS, or is the smaller one a chakma? I think in this case I'd rather have two kardas.

Hasiya later....

Bamboo,
The YCS comes by design with two kardas. You can steel a blade or strike sparks from a flint with the spine of a karda, but you can't cut anything with the edge of a chakmak if you lose your only karda :D .
Berk (who already has a YCS, and loves it, BTW!)

E-mail sent on the M43 :D

Almost bit on that myself. First M-43 I recall with a walnut handle. Also like that wood handled Bag Bhairab very much, but have a horn one now and know the handle doesn't fit me that well unfortunately. Otherwise I would like to get a mate for it. Mine is 37 oz. and I think this weight today will balance a bit better.

Regards,

Norm
