We just got in a shipment today and in it was the great little Kerambit you see. It has for a handle what they are calling "raktha chandan" -- bloody sandalwood. As you can see it is very pretty stuff. Kumar made this knife and has done a fabulous job on it. The fit and finish are as good as I've ever seen. Scabbard is excellently done by village sarki. Even I'm impressed with these rigs. Every now and then a kami will outdo himself and Kumar has done it this time.

I have three available in the raktha chandan and two in beautifully done horn.

I'm not ashamed to ask $100 for these knives because I think they are worth it and possibly more.

Email to get one of these little jewels.

Everybody have a safe and sane 4th. Yangdu and I will be Titanic II bound doing our usual thing.

Email sent for "raktha chandan"...finally, I'm home for a special!

Edited to add: One wood gone to Ohio :D

Beauty!! If it was anything but a kerambit, another wood one would be on the way here. There will be some lucky guys out there tonight.

Bill, your fingers look very healthy in the picture.

The knives Dan spearheaded are neat.

Damn those rakth chandan are beautiful!
If I didnt already have a kerambit, Id buy one of those.
Can I trade?

Rakth Chandan is a very powerful wood for spiritual purposes it's infused with the element of Air and is known to have a restorative and anti-aging effect on the skin.

Does it also negate the need for the little blue pill? :D

Whatever it is used for that is some dayum nice looking wood.

Whatever have we done to those guys that they would put it on a kerambit instead of a Nepali knife???

Of the kerambits I've seen the HI one is a nice one, but WTF??

That is a really nice blade! I agree with you UB, Kumar did a great job. :D I'm glad it was posted after I got off the net last night, or I would have been sorely tempted to snag one.

*tells self* Must save money for new computer and girls. Arrrggg!! :p LOL! Sweet stuff! :D

Heber, some of my money gets spent on women, whiskey, guns, and knives. The rest is mostly wasted.

Modified in my case to motorcycles, whiskey, guns and knives... :D

Well, it used to be just whiskey.

There's no more whiskey but there are guns, khukuris, and music.

I wouldn't mind a good truck, but the thought of selling any of my guns to get one is too terrible to contemplate.
