Been using a pair of Yankz (http://www.yankz.com/) shoelaces on my running shoes for a couple of weeks now. I go for a run every morning at 0445 and at that hour my motor skills are not really up to tying shoes so I tried these. The Yankz are great. They're elastic so you can just slip your shoes on. You put them on, adjust them until they're comfy and then leave them alone.

That's a pretty cool video and perfect for us types that can't tie their shoes and walk at the same time :)

I'm going to order a set of these. Seems like a good idea.

How are they holding up?

Funny thing is that I've been replacing the laces on my hiking boots and running shoes with shock cording and cord locks and would secure the ends with a fisherman's knot. I never knew that there was a commercial version of speed lacing lacing. Thanks for the link. :)

Going to order a fewsets ofthese for my kids. Do they hold up well?

You can lace your shoes so that at the last eyes, the laces come into your shoes, and you just tuck them in. It's a skater thing.

I find it works better if I tie my shoes before I start walking. Of course, it's even easier if I tie my shoe before I put my foot on. :)

Still OK after 4 months. I only have them on my running shoes though.
