Today is a good day! :D
It is not only, that the sun is finally shinning after this long depressing winter, but I just received some nice pictures with a finalized Yatagan, which I had the luck and pleasure to forge its blade.
The beautiful and outstanding handle praises the love, patience and high skill of its owners art!
Thanks for sharing! :)

Great Work as usual. Easy too see from the pics alone, how one could swing and wield immemse power in that good looking steel.

;-) Well, not only has the blade with forward mass proven itself historically (just look at the light cavalry sword 1796), but any decent sized tree limb would be utterly defenceless as well :-)

Agreed!
Come to think of it, I do have a dried out apple tree in the backyard...hmm :D

Thanks for the compliment :) But the handle is what shines here, my humble blade is merely an accessory ;)

I disagree. It's a great piece all around.
