Finally have a Becker thanks to KingMC and his very generous gaw. The BK4 is different than anything I've ever had, but wow, I'm gonna have fun with this thing. Just lounged around the house today, but got restless. So I told my boy to go grab his little hatchet, and we headed out to the backyard fire pit. We had some fun swinging steel, Choppin, shaving, and just being creative. I'm a liking this 4. What a versatile blade. [emoji41].
Then we came in and settled down for a little family time with the ladies. I grabbed the bk4, a stockman, and a softwood spoon that I had roughed out months ago. Decided to see how the 4 could do on a small stick ( yeah, I know not optimum, but you never know if boredom could hit at some random fire [emoji12]). And you know, it did pretty good.
Flipped back and forth with the stockman, and the big blade was great at smoothing out rough detail. Anyway, I'll stop boring you. I'm just a little too excited to try out something new. [emoji3].
