Bought a Boss Street from a member this week and it came this morning. I love this knife. No offense to Mean Street or Badger Lovers but this knife is the perfect compromise between the Original Mean Street and BAIII. It's got everything a guy needs in medium sized fixed blade. This is going to become my dedicated USK for my EDC Pack. I can't think of any situation this blade couldn't face and face well. I just wanted to thank Busse Combat for making maybe the perfect knife. Along with this, my Natural Outlaw, NMFBM, and AK-47 I don't there is a task I can't handle with a Busse. Here is a picture of it with my Bark River Kephart for comaprison.

Anyone got any idea what these things look like under the coating. I traditionally strip my blades but am going back and forth on this one.

I am leaving mine alone and letting the coating come off over time. :)

Nice. I am jealous.

I have only held the custom shop version (I think those satin ones were custom shop).

Just in case anyone is curious these knives have a lovely and even bead blast underneath the coating. I stripped mine tonight. I was pleased with how nice looking the blade is under the coating. And the BUSSE laser logo is still quite fresh and pops on the bead blast finish. I will do a little hand rubbing on it as I prefer and smoother blade than bead blast. But it's a great starting point. Flitz and some elbow grease can almost turn a bead blast into a nice satin finish.

That's a fine looking knife. ;)
How you ever let her go I don't know. But I'm glad you did. I'm lovin it. I power stropped it tonight and the thing slices hairs in half.
