My leather supply has slowly been dwindling and I was at a point where the only leather I had to make sheaths with was really crappy.

I picked me up a nice side of 9/10oz leather and I guess I'm just really happy to start making some sheaths for a few of my knives.

Just to make this thread fit in to this forum;), here is a nice picture of the leather with a side of custom knives:D

Lorien, who made the chopper in the very center of the spread? The one with the wide blade with forge marks, and an extremely textured handle.

I know the feeling Lorien, I was down to some pretty knarly belly pieces and finally sprung for a couple new sides recently. Look forward to seeing what you come up with...

BTW, that's a cool shot of your collection -- nice knives.

Thank you Eli, I'm looking forward to getting started.

Mr. Mamba, I believe the knife that you're referring to is my Tai Goo BMG, (search it, I did a thread on it some time ago) which happens to be one of the knives that needs some pants.

Yeah Mike, this side cost me a little over $150, and it ain't fancy stuff!

That alot of knives to make sheaths for Lorien. I can see hand stitching cramps coming soon.
Nice collection.

I only have about five knives to make sheaths for:rolleyes:
Hand cramps, here I come:D

Congrats Lorien. Let me know next time you need leather and maybe we can combine on a Wicket and Craig order.
Where'd you pick this up? W&C is cheaper and better with some of the sales they have.

I got it at Tandy in Victoria.
Thanks for the offer Stuart, I'll take you up on it.

If you use wood for the Tai Goo knife like your supposed to you'll have enough leather to make yourself some shorts just in time for summer. :D

I could make a nice set of buttless chaps outta that hide!

Lorien, the above quote is VERY true story.

Paul
