YAY! The first one got stickied! Too bad some guys had to rant on a certain happy face and get it locked :P

So here is the next set of questions on the YBB....

1) I'm assuming YBB prices are in USD (as is everything).
2) Does the YBB price include shipping? And if so, how far afield? Is shipping within the US only included?
3) Someone please tell me it dosn't cost as muc to ship to Canada as...say... the UK.

That's it for now!

Try reading the earlier posts.

1. Yes
2. Yes, Stateside
3. Try looking it up at a shipping company.

Don't play too hard here...the Mod has lost most of his sense of humor.

USD in the DOTD

+25$ to ship in Canada.

Considering those thing are HEAVY and most of the websites selling knives ask 20$... worth it.

Also, you'll be surprised how fast is international shipping with Yangdu.

It's not so much the speed i'm concerned about. It just seems odd to be paying the same to ship to Canada as the UK, and the same to ship say... a 9" 6oz GBC as a 20" AK. I don't mind paying $25 to ship a $200 knife, but should i get a GBC for say... $50, then i'm paying half that value again for shipping. Seems a little high.

Oops. sorry. Small knives are not the same. Here are Yangdu's exact words so I won't say anything stupid:

"Shipping cost

3 to 6 ounce knife regular air parcel post $10.00
7 to 28 ounce regular air parcel post $25 or EMS $40 "

Shipping is high because it's heavy. Do you order online a lot? Look on ebay how much people ask to ship in Canada.

Also, HI offers the best warranty on the khuks and the service is very good. Yangdu is great to deal with. Those 2 last things are also to consider.

Wonderful. Just seemed weird paying the same for shipping something 6 oz as 28 oz. And i know about HI's lovely warranties... the life-time warranty on the blades makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside :)

I've bought knives from most of the major kukri suppliers and shipping is the about the best packaged as well as the cheapest (free for me.) The PO has tried to rip some of her boxes apart and the knives inside remained undamaged. That it come in 1 to 2 days from Reno is just an extra benefit.
