Hi everyone! I'm constantly monitoring this site but rarely have much to say. I just enjoy reading the many different opinions. My question is, would it be possible to get a bone handeled YCS? I have the horn and the wood. Now it seems time bring in a new member to the family. Have a great day all. Chuck Lambert

There's a horn handled YCS? Wow I would like to see that. With some steel furniture it would approach my ideal khuk...

Yes it has steel furniture. If I can get my camera to work I'll post a picture.. It seems as though I just missed that BT special. Oh well life goes on. Later Chuck Lambert

Chuck,

Unless I'm mistaken I think Uncle Bill has put any special orders on hold for now. I'm sure a YCS with a bone handle falls into that category, but it does sound nice!!:D

This is the first time I have done this, so be patient if I screw up. I'm not especially computer literate.

Very nice!! Just put a new entry on my special order list for the future... Some kind of bone or antler would look nice too.

I thought that too, until I got mine. I prefered the wood, I thought. I was more than pleased with the horn but still wanted the wood. I lucked out and got a YCS at a markdown from uncle Bill. Great savings and great knife. The wooden handeled knife has a larger handel and a bigger blade. I am pleased with both. Later Chuck

Yes they are Hi kuk's. They are the only one's as far as I'm concerned. Why try the rest when you can buy the best!.. Later Chuck

You mean there were that few of the horn handeled YCS'S made? I'm in the possession of a collector item. I was surprised when it came I only saw pictures of the wood handeled YCS but never really thought about whether or not they were offered both ways. Anyway of finding out how many were made? Later Chuck
