Yeah Baby !

The M-43 is a great blade. I have three, and I use one of them a lot. I also started buying CAKs, because I can get those in a lighter weight Kukri. I have done a lot of backpacking and hunting, and that is why I like the lighter weight Kukuris.

Congratulations on a great blade.

Thanks brother . I have a lighter built Kukri by another manufacturer that I favor as an all around camp knife that fits that role admirably . It ain't no HI LoL , but I honestly can't complain because it does exactly what I wanted it for in conjunction with a folding saw if needed and a Mora 511 . Great woods trio for my way of doing things 95% of the time . I have what's basically a full tang service No.2 . It only 3/8ths of an inch at it's widest across the spine and tapers to just about 1/4" right before the tip comes to the point with an 10 3/4" blade length . Pretty fantastic utility type blade I must admit .

It's hard to beat the HI Kukris, but I too recently bought another based upon size and weight. Again, congrats on a great blade.
