Well.. I finally came across the right kind of deal.. I just traded one of My cool little Q-III luxeon 3Watt flashlights off for a Benchmade 705sbt

to a guy from another forum. This Will be my first Benchmade knife and first experience with an Axis lock.. I am excited and all giddy and can't wait for it to arrive... .. Just wanted to share the news and see if anyone here would like to share they're knowledge of this knife with me..

Jeff, you are getting one of the best designs from one of the best manufacturers.
Once you get to love the 705, go for the gusto and get a 710 in m2 steel and you will have the best of the best :) .

Well.. I got the knife today and I can see why Bench Made has been around for as long as it has been.. These things are very nice.. Action is smooth as butter.. and I am really liking the axis lock. I will get some pics up of it pretty soon ..Only down side that is really just a preference thing on my part.. is it is a bit smaller than I had imagined, But that is not taking anything away from the knife .. just a bit on the small side for my big mitts..
