I signed up a while ago here for doing research on knives. Now thanks to you all I'm out $336! Well, not entirely ;) Got my first Busse on the way. Just ordered a new Hell Razor. Olive Drab blade and Black Magnum handle :D Thanks everyone for all the help this forum has provided in the past. Woohoo, can't wait to get this baby in :D Any suggestions on leather sheaths?

Congrats! You won't be dissapointed. And, you'll likely be spending a lot more of your hard earned cash at the company store when you see what's coming up next! Best learn how to explain it to you wife without catching hell! (If you're married.)

Aaron,

Welcome to the forum and it's nice to see a fellow Mainer.
For sheaths check out the Busse home page and sheath makers.

You can't go wrong with any of these guys and the Leatherman is probably the guy recommended most often here on the forum.

Congrats on your first of many new Busse knives.

Aaron, welcome and congrats on your new HR:thumbup: , I have the same one grn/blk-mag. and love it, sits on my BOB . you'll find it to be the most valuble tool you have....home or away.
Check some of the past HR posts they will be helpful. or put hell razor in the search box.you'll always find some kind of helpful  info.
My HR wears a SpecOps survival sheath, I like it . It goes perfect with my BOB. Good LUCK finding pants 4 your new "razor"

Hi gunscrounger. Not quite married yet. Actually my girlfriend and I are going to look at our first apartment tonight. Luckily, she knows exactly how much of a knife and sword fiend I am. Though I don't think I'll let her see any receipts ;)

Thanks for the welcome Dave. I did check out Busse's recommendations and after some searching here, fired off an email to Mt.Mikes as I really like the one he made for muzzleup in this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=413956

Thanks again guys and pray with me that my girlfriend keeps her patience...LOL

Congrats and welcome from a semi newbie.
If you think you have spent a lot of money than wait untill you are really into it

Congradulations! $336 is a really good deal, since they're not listed at the Co. Store, anymore. You'd have to pay the marked-up resale price, now.

Skunk may have some sitting on the side. Heck, the AK's were gone for a bit, and now they are back. Just keep checking back from time to time.... ;)

And so it begins....

me: "So hon, I finally caved and had to get something I had been wanting for a while."
her: "Let me guess, a new knife???"
me: "Well yes, but not just any old knife."
her: "I don't even want to know how much it costs."
me: "Did I mention that I still need to order a custom sheath for it?"
her: "I told you, I don't even want to know. What you spend your money on is your own business just don't let me see the receipts."

Luckily, right after this conversation we went and saw the new apartment, which she loved and she forgot all about my shopping...LOL

BTW leatherman, I checked out your site. Some nice work you have on there. You might be hearing from me.

she sounds very cool, can I meet her:thumbup:
