American Artlllery Association nationals this past weekend in the Catskills.

1st place long distance
1st place counter battery
2nd place cannister
3rd place accuracy (the only anomally) :confused:

Overall aggregate??????
1st Light Battery C.V.1st place National champs in rifled cannon :eek:

Huzzah!!!
 
I should add.

Our women's crew (wives and sweet hearts) The Girls of "61 scored 3rd overall in smooth bore cannon their first time out in competition :eek: :eek:

Coming just as soon as we can compile them from friends and spectators.

Hard to handle a camera when you're on the line loading powder and shot. :D

Hmmmm....How about and INFI ball that we could use over and over? :D
 
How about a real test for the AK 47? Maybe slicing a cannon ball in half in flight? Now, that would be impressive. Garth, are you busy? Grab your AK and see me in the paking lot.
 
That would be a training for acc uracy, have the ball hit an AK to be split, say at 100 yds.

Bill, can you bring that to the Extended Stay next year?? Could be a lotta fun at 2 a.m. ................ :thumbup: :cool:

Nah, Just shoot the dang thing and let Garth swing that AR and cut the ball in half. Mike, I'll even bring the Fuentes to set the thing off!

Sounds cool. WHEN AND WHERE? This sounds like it could be a little dangerous. I hope I can find my safety glasses before that thing goes off. ;)
Those cannon balls don't stand a chance against the Mighty Chewbacon and his INFI light saber.
