This year has been very productive for me. I built my blown forge; made my first damascus; started, finished, and fine tuned my GIB; built a HT oven, and got some much loved Parks 50. Oh, and made some knives along the way as well as met some wonderful fellow knifemakers.

What have you accomplished this year that you would like to share?

This year I managed to build a 980 server cluster in a data center a thousand miles away (after 8 trips there, each lasting at least 3 days).

I made a few knives, of course, and saw improvement in my technique thanks to the advice and training of several on this forum. I sent out three of those knives as gifts, and all seemed to be well appreciated.

Inspired by others in the forum, I started building a grinder for myself and thinned out the mess in my work space to make room for it.

I helped one of my staff members to demonstrate his chops as a people manager, and he is now ready to assume the role on a permanent basis (as soon as a slot opens up).

And I got through the entire year without getting into an argument with my wife! That's gotta count for something.
