Starting February 18th will begin the Chinese New Year. This Year is the Year of the Pig.
From Chiff.com:
"If you were born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 or 1995 - you were born under the sign of the pig. Like the pig (link to pig personality traits,) you are highly regarded for your chilvary and pureness of heart, and you often make friends for life. For pigs in 2007, any recent setbacks or obstacles can be overcome so look forward to a year in which to really shine, either personally or professionally."
Also, the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing is issuing a special Year of the Pig $1 note with with serial number starting 8888 inserted in a folder showing a multi-colored pig.
Jerry, how will you be celebrating the Year of the Pig? Any special offerings for us in the trough to celebrate this monumental event? Maybe a Pigganza?
I plan on getting half-soused on Pig's Nose Scotch (need a good excuse for the wife.)
HURRAY FOR PIGS!!! (hogs and piglets included)
