I just inherited a buck yellowhorse Ranger. I can't seem to find any info and was hoping someone could brief me on it. Thanks

It's worthless. Send it to me and I will dispose of it in an evironmentally friedly way, and only charge you $5.00 for it. Much cheaper than getting rid of an old fridge.)

Seriously, you lucky SOB. Others will tell you of the value, but I salute your good fortune.

Peace, Al

Then if he gets mad, he'll be a mile away, and barefoot!

Steven,
Welcome to the forums! I would be more than happy to help ID your knife. Can you tell me what is stamped on the blade and what is the scene on the handles?
Take care,

Also look for a script signature on the blade or a DY stamped into the edge of the brass bolster in a very inconspicuous manner. Is the blade satin finish or mirror polished. Biggesst of all; what is the figure on the handle. Is it the running horse with the flying mane? The rarest knife is the very early one that has Buck / US / 112 on the satin finish blade and the small DY stamp in the brass.

Hi Joe...The knife I have has buck custom usa
stamped on the blade. It has made by Dave Yellowhorse stamped on the underside next to the slot the blade slides into and has a running horse in the center of each side with a flying mane. No other markings are evident except the cardboard protector for the wooden case has Case 112 printed on it. Thanks for any help you can offer.
