Thinking of a Yellowstone NP trip. Anyone have any tips or "you gotta go here" advise? We plan on camping.
Thanks in advance.

Nobody on this site has been to Yellowstone? No advise to give a guy? I don't believe it.

We went a few years ago. We stayed in Gardner, MT the first few days and them at the Old Faithful Inn then finally moving on to the Grand Tetons in WY. There is so much to do that I can't ever fit it all here. We went rafting in Gardner as well as a two hour ride on horseback through the hills. We watched the wolves, hung out with buffalo, hit every hit spring imaginable and just took it all in. The best piece of advice I can give you is to pick up a copy of Fodor's Guide to Yellowstone National Park.

I'm with Kenc been 20 years since I was there, but we basically did the same thing. Not to be crass, but if you are camping try to make sure that you or a significant other is not "cycling" and cover up the smell of toothpaste. Bears are an issue. IMHO old faithful is over rated, but the natural hot springs are neat and the canyon around the Yellowstone River.
