I got some good opinions the last time I considered a couple knives so I thought I'd see what ya'll think again. I am wanting to pick up a very small fixed blade with a blade less than 3" and the 2 below caught my eye. The Moore Maker has 1095 steel and Delrin scales while the Colonel Coon 420HC & Autumn Gold Bone. The knife will be carried and used. Both are the right size but the blade shape on the MM might work a bit better?

I'd have to go with the Moore Maker given the two choices proffered.

I'd go with the Moore Maker.
Versatile blade shape, confy handle and that choil might come in handy.
Not to mention that it looks awesome. :D

Love the autumn gold bone, but also agree that the Moore Maker seems like the better knife (Looks, design, & blade steel).

There's something about that Moore Maker, though less fancy, that really appeals to me.
Git dat one.

I'm feeling the Moore Maker myself. Something about that knife makes it look like it belongs on a Ranch Hand's belt.

The Colonel Coon is made by Queen

It looks exactly the same as:
A Queen Light Hunter TROUT in Amber bone 85ASB
3.00" BLADE
6.375" TOTAL LENGTH
D2 STEEL BLADE

I would check this one out as an option

I like the steel offered on the mm better but I prefer the look of the cc more. So I can't help you. They both have advantages and disadvantages in my opinion.

That Moore Maker will be a much better user. The handle of the CC will most likely be too small, and the guard/pommel will be uncomfortable unless your hands are tiny.

Thanks for the link. I actually looked at that Queen a few times because I really like D2. It is however almost identical in dimensions to my 1977 Case below. I have never used this knife 1 time because it's too pretty!

The Moore Maker seems to have a more comfortable handle that can be held in different grips, the steel is much better as well. If you ever want to change the delrin scales for something fancier, there are a ton of folks who can do that for you.
