She is pretty awesome, morvlorv (and so are the knives she got for you)!
My wife has occasionally bought me sharp stuff over the course of almost 30 years of marriage, even before I recently "went off the deep end" for pocket knives. She gave me a Leatherman back in the 80s, when I had never even heard of them; I've carried it in my backpack every day since then. And she bought me a set of "Sheffield knives" (maybe from Sears?) many years ago; they weren't very good knives, but I enjoyed messing around with the variety of "SAK knockoffs" that were included, and it was my first exposure to a "tactical folder" (that did nothing for me).
But now that I've declared that knives are a serious hobby, I think she's having second thoughts! We were on vacation in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in August, and pulled into the parking lot of a grocery store in Cedarville, MI. She informed me in no uncertain terms that I was NOT hanging around in the parking lot to wait for the owner of the car with CASE XX license plate on the front to come out to that car!
