Yes George there is a Santa Claus

So most know I love the 317. Here is my early Christmas present from Santa. There were a limited number of 317s produced with handle pins in the beginning. Research (Bert's previous threads) say that two handle pin versions exists. Knives with large pins (considered a production oddity) and one with small pins (considered salesman samples). Here is a small pin version I acquired. The last pic shows the two versions (it is Bert's pic I borrowed from a thread).

Nice photo. On the top knife the nail nick is high on the primary blade and nonexistent on the secondary blade. I've seen some of those with pins. DM
