Yes, This Turned Out To Be a Three-Dotter

Hmmm, another fuzzy picture find eh!
I'm looking forward too seeing the pics of that one...

Yes, I have fine-tuned mine to "buck naive newcomer seller no knife knowledge cell phone camera."

I will be sending that one off to Buck one of these days......I should get a pic on here so there will be a "Before" record.

:)

I did clean it up a little, but I think it has potential to look really great with a spa treatment.

Thanx for the pics BG
looks to be in excellent shape..Congrats on that one...
did ya check out the blade on the link I posted?

Thanks, guys......and Sit, yes, I see the nice blade like my recent 118.

So did you get that old........105, I guess it is?

I'll have to take a ruler to it when it shows up... Looked at the archived catalogs...hard tellin' till in hand.

I was guessing that's a 118...

Well, there are more 105s around than 118s......and I do think I see more of a hump in the back than a 118 should have, but it's very, very hard to say.

But you got a good price on it.....partly due to your good search.

:)

BG thank You for that hint...I hadn't trained my eye on that finer detail...by opening two windows in the browser and jumping back and forth I concur with your prior assesment...105 for sure...and a nice piece of 440C at that! Thank You...your pieces of wisdom are well received here...
also noted...the 118 has a steady curve...105 more of an s...sorry for the thread drift...but allways exited to learn more :)

Happy if I helped.

I learned to watch for the 105 hump while trying to quickly tell 121s and 118s from 105s in bad e-Bay pictures. When you're watching for good (or potentially good) "Buy it Nows".......you have to work fast.

I've seen good knives vanish in less than a minute. There are some real pros out there watching the new stuff come on the Bay.

I am still learning the fundamentals of the zen of e-Bay.

:D
