I aked the same question. They said that after the current run they were changing the clips to black. Or something like that. You may want to contact Sal and see if you can get a black clip as a replacement.

Eda,

Get one of the skunkworks sheaths. They are very slick and cover the clip anyway.
I've got the shiny clip as well. I believe that the newer runs will have black clips.
