Yesterday the kamis were prepared and waiting for me. Shop was decorated in appropriate welcome dress, kamis had leis and tikas (red dye mixed with rice which goes on forhead) ready and I got leid and tikaed by every kami -- if you'll forgive the play on words.
Gifts were then distributed and the kamis were much impressed and very grateful -- thanks to all from all of us!
Got food and beverages for all and enjoyed the official greeting party very much.
Took maybe fifty or sixty pix and am convinced that our shop is the best in Nepal. Have no way to post pix from here but will certainly have a pix story when I get back.
Building still under construction (second floor).
Five kamis still missing -- trying to get their homes repaired after healthy storm.
Sarkis are located up on a hillside too steep for these old legs so we are making arrangements to have them come here to Anamnagar to collect their gifts and do some work. I'll get pix.
Sorry I can't answer all posts but I'll get caught up in March.
Stay well all of your and blessings from Anamnagar, Nepal!
