Calvary Rock and Chimney Rock on the RipRap Trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Maiden voyage for my new bamboo stick.

Beautiful day for it.

Beautiful view. Momma and I just got back from the Ozark mts. and to say the least pictures can give no justice to being there in person. Looks like a place we need to visit, thanks for sharing your trip with us.

It was my fiancé and mines 4 years since we meet. So I guess it was our anniversary of sorts. It was fantastic.

A stop in the mountains to take in the scenic views and stretch our legs a bit.

We started out with a couple of days at the Twin Fin on the Buffalo then then into the Ozarks. Wife wanted me to take her fishing on our honeymoon (yeah, she's a keeper). I superglued two fish hooks into a heart. She still has the heart, and that was 32 years ago this September.

I was looking at those photos and thinking to myself... man! those sure do look familiar (the views, rocks, skyline, ) and then read, lol.... oh, that's why, haha, i've been there.

Great photos for sure! of some of the great places in this state...
Bamboo sticks are great! Super light and very durable,
I've even seen people glue trekking pole tips & handles onto them...

and lastly,
Congrats on 32 years this September!! WoW!! ,
and four, for TexasToothpick

u.w.
