What kind of bags are you guys using? I am currently using a German Pack........I am looking for something better.

I just bought a used Maxpedition Condor today, I have been packing my kit into it all night...pretty cool pack. I also have the Falcon from Maxpediton, it is the same size, just longer and more narrow. I like them both, just think the Condor fits my large frame better. Gene

Eagle 3 day with moles so I can add on if need be. Went with the side bags as a start point.

Wife has the same with out the moles loops. I will be caring extra family supply's, (first aid, food stuff...) and basics for my daughter (5) if need be thus the extra space.

I use a Kelty pack, when amongst the sheeple. If the SHTF, I use a Kifaru Scout.

I went the economy route, medium Alice pack. I changed the buckles for fastex fasteners. Works well for my purposes.

I just received a camelbak Talon-J. Got to put it through it's paces properly yet. First inpressions are it's very well made, nice size for fast and light, a tad heavy but it rides nice and high clear of the belt.

I went to big W and bought a pack big enough to fit my gear , cost $20 , comfortable enough so far and its lasted for 5 yrs of camping hiking and getting knocked around the back of the car ...

got the kids one each from "rejects" that last about 12 months of kid abuse before being replaced .

The wifes pack came from Target , she babies it , its going to last orever I reckon .

Sorry , no flash brand names , all made in china and taiwan , all functional , comfortable packs .. they work just as well being cheap no-brand jobs as a brandname job I guess .

Just my $0.02

I use Gregory packs for my backpacking/hiking. They carry the load really well and do not stress the back in any way. I suggest ensuring the pack fits appropriately on your body shape/size.

my 2 cents

It looks like a decent bag and material but I can't tell anything about the stitching. Also I can't tell what his return policy is. Granted for $27 how long does it have to last to have paid for itself. :D Might be worth the gamble. Hard to say.

I bought a Maxpedition Jumbo. It cost a little more than $27 but it is probably one of the best purchases I have made on a dollar/worth analysis.

Good luck,
KR

Eagle A-III Assault Pack - buy the internal frame (doesnt come with it); makes the pack much more comfortable if you have a lot of stuff in it. I have gone out for tons of overnighters with just that and whatever is on your belt. Molle of course you can put whatever you want on it though...
