More chopper goodness. I want to focus my chopper questions on the following specifics, however:
1) what are the most absolute best choppers (knives only) that you have used-- Busse or not Busse, production or custom?
2) what choppers do you find really versatile-- not just brute chopping prowess-- Busse or non Busse.
I'm just curious about the best of the best. For question number 1, I might personally say my NMFBMLE-- but I just haven't gotten the chance to use it yet. It will happen very soon, however, when I go camping. Based on what I have read, I think it will be some serious wood chipper.
For number 2, I really, really dig my Condor Golok machete. I take it hiking with me at night and find it can chop medium sized wood very well, and with the right wrist-action touch can clip off light vegetation that encroaches the small deer-run path. It also is adept at shaving off bark, stabbing soft wood, and other mundane tasks. All around great tool. Probably like the B11.
